Artist's Description
I started out by painting a stylized elephant, then thought about what the essence of elephant was, and depictions of elephants in the gods. The obvious one that came to mind was the holy Ganesha.

I am a Canadian aspiring craftswoman, a mother of three, a wife, a gardener, a professor, and an archaeologist. I specialize in diverse subjects... often flowers, animals, and landscapes or paintings from photos.
