The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This piece is obviously inspired by the horses and animals of prehistoric times in Europe, seen in the art of places like Grottes Chauvet. My own handprints are added to the art, as is seen in some prehistoric European cave art.
